The Velbon EX-Mini is an ultra-compact and lightweight aluminium tripod for table-top and Macro work with a range of digital cameras and compact video cameras. It comes complete with 2-Way pan and tilt head which allows a wide choice of composition. Fully extended, using the sliding centre column, the tripod can reach a maximum working height of 41.7cm. Once folded down, it measures just 25.5cm in length. Radial leg braces give the tripod maximum rigidity and stability and these can be extended to give an extremely sturdy low-level working height of just 19cm.

Camera Plate

On EX 430 and higher model, the camera plate turns to the right instead of left. This leaves left hand free to adjust tripod and camera controls while taking images in portrait mode. Importantly when using telephoto lenses the camera remains securely attached to plate due to effect of gravity tightening the screw connection.
